Certificate of no criminal convictions for Singaporean Candidates (CNCC):

The Singapore Police force will now only consider a request for a CNCC if it comes from an Embassy or Consulate authority, to over come this we have been working with the US Consulate in Singapore and the Singaporean Police department.

What does this mean for you?

1. DKInternational has to make a request directly to the US Embassy for the issuance of a CNCC for you; this will be done on an individual basis. We have created a standard CNCC request form which will be sent to the US Embassy. This will need to be completed by each of you and emailed back to me. Please see attached “Request for CNCC form”.

2. Once the request has been made to the US Embassy they will issue the letter to you, they will contact you to arrange either a pick up (which will be faster) or mail out. This letter and your documentation will then need to be taken with you to the Police department in order for a CNCC to be issued.
Letters will need to be collected from:-

US Embassy, Singapore

Singapore 258508

Candidates must not contact the US Embassy directly to obtain the CNCC letter request. The US Embassy will contact you once the letter is ready to collect.

Singapore has an application form called the Certificate of no criminal convictions (CNCC). This background check costs approximately S$45.00 when applications are submitted in person or S $55.00 when applications are posted.

Singapore has one office only that processes these applications, the address is:

Please arrange for the completed Certificate of no criminal conviction to be returned to you - once you have received this, please fax a copy of your CNCC to our office on 61 8 83441428. The Certificate of no criminal convictions normally takes between 7 and 14 days to be processed by the Police department.
