Busy day.

I had a basic sign language class at 1030 at Downtown Disney.

Since the bus only came at 947, we had to leave the house at 9AM. So, Si Ming, Jie Ying and I had breakfast at Mac, for the first time .....

Mark was quite cute and animated, he was the only child of his family of two parents and a brother who was hearing. Even his niece and nephew are deaf, therefore sign language is his first language actually.

I know how to sign Disney, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and MK, AK, Disney MGM Studios now..

Was cashiering. Tired dayas I sent assignments to Bud at 1130PM

The main problem about daylight saving time:

1. The oven clock is unable to manually change itself
2. The sun is too bright for 7AM
3. The night is too dark for 6PM

Start of chaos = Soft boiled eggs, hash browns, and sausages, with hot chocolate.

Where the time for me will move backwards by an hour, but I have yet to know how to "calculate" it by converting to and fro Singapore and Florida's timings ..

Today was a rather good day .. I had an American guest whose work took him to several places eg Singapore Yishun ? Hahaha .. He commented that he knew I was Singaporean by my accent .. And now my question .. Do I even HAVE an accent?

He said that Singaporeans have a more perfect pronunciation than Americans ..

Tired. Ivan haven't sent me his journal; I haven't started on my homework .. Haiz, this weekend is coming to an end too quickly ..

But we had Grilled cheese for taste panel ..

I was busser and I found this cute little girl to be my "Chef of the Day" .. She told me about her best friend, and I wrote something to her best friend ..

Except that I kept thinking whether I wrote the right thing ..

"Chef of the Day" is a Magical Moment means she is the "chef" ..

So I wrote, her friend's name under Best Friend "to" Chef of the Day .. Up to now, I am still ponding, did I use the correct preposition? Why didn't I use Best Friend "of" Chef of the Day ..?

My other off day. Sadly no one to accompany me.

I did my laundry today, and my quilt became a ball of fluff. It was resting on cheryl's bed like a big fat husband to her the last I saw of it.

I watched my DVD and things happened .. Hahaha .. Secret, private stuff ..

Wednesday wasn't supposed to be a good day due to the problem we encountered the night before .. However, I talked to Ellen (my F&B manager of manager); she said that that incident was a common problem and since it was my first time it didn't matter that much.

I felt relieved that for me the incident just came and left.

Hahaha .. Ok, due to my quirky work schedules and tiredness, I have postponed my blog entries, so I'm trying to revive my thoughts, though not yet.

Today, I had class at 8 as usual, we were slightly late though. Cheryl refused to wake up !!! No lah .. I was tired as I finished work late.

So, all your suggestions have been totally cancelled due to weather changes and so, my theme of the day: WINTER WEAR !!

You must be thinking I'm crazy to wear winter wear in the hot, sunny Florida; but last night it was 49 F, and today was expected to be 45 F !!! Somehow, the weather is supposedly to get really chilly ..

So, at Practicum, I seemed like the only one who was excited about my "Magical Moment".. My teacher got for all of us (from Singapore) new name tags with the correct name, country and even language tag !!! My work place gave me a language tag with "Cantonese" not knowing the difference between that and that of Mandarin.

My communications class made us all deliver a speech, and I did one on "Long Distance Relationships", but only obtained 95 as I didn't have time to "wrap up my presentation" OH WELL !!!

So, after class, we sped home. Cheryl got out her pirate stuff (things she has been stashed away for a long time because of her favourite Pirates of the Carribbean.) And I took my winter jacket and scarf out(I totally forgot my gloves, which I regretted later.)

We rushed to take the bus C with Lee Min to go to EPCOT to fetch Geraldine and check what time Yiwen ended. Geraldine ended work shortly and I really like a few of the art pieces, though I am still not willing to work out a $400 before 40% discount ..

But still, I am so tempted to buy a piece of "Precious Moments" for Ivan/myself .. Hahaha .. Actually for myself bahh .. :p

Then, after Geraldine changed and all, we decided to go shopping (sighting things to buy on November 1). Later she went back as she realised she had left her camera in her other bag .. So, we decided to wait for Yiwen to finish work.

Much later when everyone finally was ready, we took the monorail to MK. And we saw HIDAYAH (She wanted me to type this down).

And so, we took our wrist bands at the gate and waited for Wei Ling and Wan Ping ..

Shortly, they appeared and we took many photos .. As we scouted around for food, we landed at Stitch's Dance Party ..

So, much later met up with Penny, Si Ming and Piriya, all three were unprepared for the cold weather ..

We collected candy and went for a ride together, Stitch's Great Escape, which in my opinion, is the worse ride in the whole WDW .. But, it was my first ride with many individuals ..

Lastly, we did get into some trouble, which will only be elaborated upon, upon request. :) End.

Worried about what Penny said, and some consolation from David Chan, I decided to hit the sack since it was closing 3AM !

Just before I slept, I felt something in my heart.

I have no idea whether I "heard" God's voice or I just suddenly remembered ..

I don't have an aim in life, cause I don't want to walk a route and have God drag me another route. My route should be God's route, since He hasn't shown me HIS ways, of course I have no idea.

I trust in My God and trust that He will lead me the right way. As I told David Chan, I wished my Shepherd would physically come down and bring the dumb sheep (me) the right way. So, maybe that's why I felt the "revelation" that night.

But anyway, I roughly know what I really feel like doing and how it can pertain to my future. Though I will disclose it, if you ask me on MSN only.

It's like, "I know my God is able to carry me through", so I don't have to bother too much about my future. "I don't know about tomorrow ...."

So, that was a nice thought before I fell asleep.

Today, I was nearly late, no thanks to my alarm that didn't ring, perhaps due to the flat battery of Ivan's HP ..

I didn't have lunch but I had a long bath, and luckily, I caught the bus.

Hmmmm .. So, I reached there early and while working I was talking with one of my colleagues from Peru. He is an uncle, and his name is .. Angel. Cute right ..

Angel was asking me about my boyfriend. I was quite shocked. And so, I whipped out my wallet and showed him a picture of Ivan.

He was quite shocked. I wondered why. He said something like Ivan looking like a movie star. I laughed at his comment, as I have never heard such a thing. He kept saying Ivan was good looking.. Hahaha .. Yeahh .. I have good foresight..

Later, we were teaching each other the map of where we live..

And before he left, he told me to get married earlier. I told him, I was but 21 years old. He said, I could get married early. Because if a woman gives birth after 25, her bones won't be as flexible to give birth, or something like that .. I still feel weird if I were to marry that soon .. Though I was thinking of marrying at 23, to have a child born in the same zodiac year as Ivan and myself ..

But he did mention, that if we were to be married, we shouldn't have children until we were bringing home some bacon .. He, erm, did explicitly teach me some birth control methods, which I was smiling (abit of ku xiao bu de feeling) ..

Before he left, he left me with one last advice .. After I get married, my husband and I should not have sex, but we should spend time making love .. For it will be a different feeling .. I think I saw him smile when I told him I was still a virgin so for now, I won't know the difference .. Hahaha ..

So, starting 330, I was cashiering, and today was really really a slow day .. I earned $900 including not physical money. In physical money, I only earned $300 ! In like 7 hours !!

James was cashiering with me, and we shared a few thoughts ..

I just realised he is attached, so I can't market him anymore .. He's like erm .. WC?

Though he mentioned that his girlfriend is super possessive for now, and would cry when he told her he talked to say, me? Or even the older women (like Jane who is like 40-50+).. He said something about her breaking up after a 7 year relationship though, so I guess that's why she feels insecure ..

So, I told him, that when Ivan and I intially got together, I used to be possessive of him too, but after time, I know that I don't need to guard him 24/7. So, even if I am not in Singapore, I trust that he will not find another female to mate with. For he too, is a virgin. Hahahaha .. But my point is .. Only after time, according to the Johari window, one opens their hidden and unknown and something window .. Like Ivan and I now, even he tells me that he talked to a pretty girl, I would be, okay .... And if I talked to James, because we had nothing to do and we were both on cashiering duty, he would be, okay ... Why not?

Oh, after the food and wine festival, I checked my email at the Learning Center at Epcot, and read Jia's email but up to date still haven't replied her.

I was working at 3pm, and I was working with Brandon as cashier.

Hmmm .. Nothing significant happened I guess, thus I didn't really update.

Oh, at night, Penny was talking to me, and was telling me things like she felt I didn't know what laid in store for me. I have no idea whether I should go to a University or whatever.

Initially I felt quite down, for that was true.

I talked to David Chan who sent me an email about "Dancing" With God.

When I meditated on the word GUIDANCE,
I was drawn to "dance" at the end of the word.

I reflected upon how doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes this and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.

The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word GUIDANCE.

When I saw "G," I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i."
"God, "u" and "i" dance." !
God, you, and I dance.

This statement is what guidance means to me.

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life.

Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies be upon you and your family on this day and everyday.

May you abide in Him as He abides in you.

Dance together with God, trusting Him to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.

Life is Precious - "Give God Thanks For It"

Although I know that Ivan would have given me a totally different perpective and would have encouraged me, he wasn't there. And I didn't want to disturb him. Though, I hope he knows that I really miss talking to him about my problems.

He's really the sweetest guy in the world.

Studying was okay, then after that Cheryl and I went to Epcot to go for some rides - Test Track, Finding Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush. Then, we went for the Food and Wine Festival and ate various foods then we went to have a proper meal and chatting session at Japan. I miss ALP for I can't speak good Japanese up to now. I understood one word that the Japanese people were saying, "okasan" hahaha ..

At the end of the day, we watched IllumiNATIONS - a fireworks performance and then waited for Geraldine to finish work. After that, we took bus C together back home.

Though we landed up at Lee Min's house instead and I watched a comedy between the class 13 girls, which were sooo cute .. End.

I inteneded to go AK, but failed. Forgot to bring my ID.

So I returned home and broke a bowl.

Quite bad luck day, but anyway, I fell asleep after Cheryl went to work.

Woke up at 6pm then started doing my homework, till 8. Then I printed and submitted my homework.

9pm was when Si Ming finished and decided to go to Virgin. It is a CD shop.

So, we waited for Prirya and took the 944 bus over.

They shopped and bought books while I fell in love with my Nintendo DS :(

It costs $129 and Pokemon costs $30+, so didn't buy anything.

Then, AJ drove me back after buying lunch for himself and his gf, Ashley.

Then, I went out with Cheryl to Wal Mart but sadly we missed the last bus and so we took a cab home with $98 worth of items and about $10 of Geraldine's shopping list.

Early in the morning at 6 O'clock, Donna woke up to see the clock.
She scrubbed her face and she brushed her teeth as her oven was warming her breakfast for her to eat.

The last day I changed shifts with Jarrod. I was cashiering again.

Had to sleep early as I would be on morning shift the next day.

Knowing that I didn't want to take a bathe early in the night, I took a bath at night. Much to Penny and Cheryl's surprise .. That speaks of how often I take baths at night ..

I'm scared of the cold night, what more the cold mornings.

Today I was cashier and Iris was with me and we were joking around.

Somehow feel very foreign. Basically because I felt the double standards sort of feeling again. I was told to stock up the bakery items when there was nothing to do but we had just done that like five minutes ago. We were told to talk less and work more. But, when I think of someone at my workplace, she talks a lot. Does so little work yet still no problem, of course, irritation.

I'm thinking of how to explain to everyone about our problem about the grouping, though it has been settled now. Haiz~

I have attained a saint's life. I didn't sleep through the night due to the particular incident.

And still went shopping at the World of Denims (a 10 minute walk from our housing) where Cheryl nearly bought something. She always wants me to buy something but I can't find anything I like.

Afterwhich, we took off to Wan Ping and Wei Ling's housing before going to Downtown Disney !!!

FINALLY !! PI PI PI !! Hahahaha .. Too bad when we went (early) the clubs had no one inside. So, we just took a look around (which I couldn't stand the loudness of the music) and went shopping again.

At the end of the trip, I realised. Everyone at least bought ONE item. But well, I bought dinner. Hehehe ..

Today was my off day. Cheryl took me out shopping at Premium Outlet as I asked Ivan whether I should go to AK (Animal Kingdom) or to go shopping, because Cheryl kept complaining that I didn't have enough clothes.

So, I bought two beautiful tees as per recommended from Cheryl and she bought an overall skirt which makes her look super cute.

We had lunch at A&W and shared prawns and fries (their prawns like xiao xia mi).

Then, we rushed home. Yet we missed the bus. :(

Luckily, the other bus came and heng heng Cheryl didn't miss that bus (and her bus to work). But I bakaly forgot to get her a spoon.

The rest of my day was spent snoozing initially (I spent my night chatting with Ivan Ee) and after 2 hours of rest, I started on my assignments and finished them just before 10pm? Haha, I should do my homework more consistently :D

Had dinner with Hidayah at Wendys (again). And we had a nice chat. I requested for more lettuce and tomato, and they only gave me a bigger slab. :( I miss vegetables.

So, I had confirmed my Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule with Jarrod and my life was almost a breeze.

Then, something happened.

I was happily chatting with the girls about crap. Things like crap and more crap.

When suddenly Penny started on the issue of the grouping. That was something that led to bloodshed. And for more information, please email me. Haiz, really can feel that class 14 is bullying us. Yet, I cannot deny that to a little extent, we are pushing them too.

Why is life so complicated? And where is Ivan Ee when I need a listening ear? Seems like he's the only guy I can really pour out my sorrow and he can understand. He's so girlish yet so man. Whahahahaha ..

Sunday.

I was breaker and James was Runner. And he did take ER (early release).

Hmmm .. I received a very touching email from Ivan, mainly because I feel he suddenly has grown up.

Erm. Can't remember actually .. Hehe..

I was busser and got nagged at by Sheldon. I was busier trying to prepare Chef of the Day instead of clearing the bins ..

Tomorrow James will help me clock in at 8, and I'll help him clock him at 5.

Today, I failed terrrrribly in cooking. For details ask Cheryl, I too paiseh to say.

I just realised I haven't been eating vegetables except on Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays. :(

Today I attended a safety in motion talk. Quite relevant, except I feel we already practice some of those theories.

I was breaker, and I was short of $5. Jialat man. But my boss says it won't affect my grading. So, let's hope the $5 will be found. Sigh.

I actually wanted to wait for Ivan, or should I say I am waiting for him. But now I'm too toooo tired.

Crazy Cheryl began singing a dumb song, "whatever whatever have a hundred years to live". Cause she kept singing but that one line !!!! It's something like why do we struggle so hard when we only have one hundred years to live. Not as though we have forever. True but nay, I kept asking her what if I lived till 101 years old. She sang again, then I asked her what if I died around 90+. She ignored me.

Oh well, somehow, it's cute to see her. Especially after she bought new stuff, she'll be extremely happy and bouncy and it really lifts your spirits up to see someone gleem with joy.

So, Geraldine left and now I'm rich again and regret withdrawing so much money.

Then, Cheryl went to bed shortly (I think); while I watched my Lee Hom's DVD. I watched so long, finally watched the first disc finish. Oh, I remember, she did her daily routine. I'm not supposed to elaborate too much anyway.

Then, ALP came online and complained about her job. Hmmm .. And I think it's a serious issue if the company really sets double standards. It'll be super hard to know when is the right time to do what.

Oh, lastly, I called home today, for the first time, to wish my parents happy anniversary. I miss them. But it's only a while longer. LOL ..

Finally I get hit by morning shift next week for two days, supposedly the whole week but I changed with another guy (he prefers morning, I afternoon).

Another news, class 14 has decided to put the TV at the guys' place. Ie. No noise, not even tv noise.

Good and bad news. But to us, it's good, I guess ..

Tuesdays = Waking up super early = Classes

Practicum was okay, I was one of the few who did my homework, as last night, everyone was struggling with the speech for communications, the lesson after Practicum ..

First time, I've seen Cheryl up so late even when waking up so early ..

In the end, I woke up around 730-45 .. LOL ..

So, we formed groups with Vanitha, and Wei Ling. Sad, nearly had some trouble with grouping. I have a gut feeling that in the end, only 3 people will do the work, then someone will scold us for giving someone else a lower grade.

Communications was a bit of rush. Wan Ping, or Rita as we call her now, made two calls, one to our lunch (which we ordered individual dishes) and another to the events we wanted to take part in .. She is joining me on the last Monday of Oct to learn basic sign language. We still had to collect the lunch, print our papers, and eat our food, while being on time to reaching class and registering for which speaker we wished to be ..

The sequence: Rita 9, I 10, Cheryl 11, Wei Ling 12. Sometimes I seriously wonder why isn't Wan Ping in our Practicum group. I much prefer having her. She's good company ..

So, communications had a big problem. The projector was spoilt in Classroom 1 where "Marketing You" was held so Scott changed rooms. And since only Wan Ping, Cheryl and I had powerpoint slides, we couldn't comment much, and true, I didn't want a class to suffer because of 3 of us. Luckily for us, Wei Ling had brought CHERYL'S laptop, so we visualised there, although doubt anyone could really see it.

After our own presentations, we got real bored, especially since we realised that most people here really COULDN'T present and therefore they were in this class.

After class, there was some minor disagreement from Practicum due to someone again. Haiz, don't wish to interfere yet feel so upset about it. Technically, I should be the "mother" role cause I'm the oldest girl here. But, according to my beloved Cheryl, she says, I'm like very matured yet very immatured within a matter of seconds depending which situation I'm handling. And I agree with her. I prefer "big sister" roles, as in, "shoo, go do what you feel like doing, I'm not going to stop you," (unless Cheryl brings in a guy and attempts to *ahem* in my room !!! But Cheryl would NEVERRRR NEVERRRRR NEVERRRRRRRRR EVER DO THAT) So why control Cheryl???

Cheryl is an individual and I respect her rights and her unwilling to see me mess up part of her room. She's so going to nag about me blogging about her again. But let me put a disclaimer so she'll stop nagging. I'm using Cheryl as an example, because, I can't write the real people's names down here !!! Plus, you're cool therefore I can write .. Cool as in .. Erm .. Free from any "crimes" around here. And you know what I'm upset about. So, hehe .. (I guess I'll still get in trouble, oh well!)

So, let's come back to the end of Communications and the speech long over, and four bored girls are penning their thoughts down in Chinese so that the rest of the world won't be able to understand them. But all that is written is about .. A guy .. Going to MK .. Going to MK and .. Going to MK !!!

Therefore, we went to MK. Wan Ping and Wei Ling went back home first. They took a lift from the woman who was going to give them their social security numbers. I got mine now. They changed and would meet us at the TTC. We, Cheryl and I, went home and changed, she wore all cute clothes, so I kept poking fun at the reason she was wearing such nice clothes ..

She took her bubbly self to MK and since we arrived earlier in MK, she got all excited and she took the monorail for the first time, so I called her sua gu. Then, we talked about the cruise to MK, then Wei Ling called me sua gu too .. Hahaha .. Cause Cheryl works at MGM Studios and I at Polynesian Resort; the two girls work at MK itself.

First stop: Another sua gu action. Getting into the park as a CM requires that you insert your card then do a finger print scan. Wonder what for? But sua gu again.

We took a picture at Mickey Mouse's there, and hopefully Wan Ping will pass us the photos next week !! First stop, merchandise. Initially we went to MK instead of Premium Outlet because of .. Wei Ling and Wan Ping seducing Cheryl over. So, I was setting my mind of finding a present for Hidayah more than shopping for myself, cause it was really too expensive. Though I still feel like buying my mouse ears with veil .. Haha .. But it's US 16 !

So, Cheryl began trying all the cute hats and taking shots. She does look nice in them.

From there, we kept a lookout for food while going to Adventureland, passing Froniterland. Her Captain Jack Sparrow is at Adventureland. Sadly, we couldn't find any proper food but luckily found the present. And walking took us to him and Cheryl was hoping around the shop, and was badly tempted to buy the $84 pirate ship, which I find beautiful too.

We took the ride - the only ride we took. And watched a parade. And watched Wishes. Wishes really is magical. Quoting Cheryl, "the Magic Kingdom is really magical" and I totally agree with that .. Fireworks have never been so nice as it looks like in here. Feel like going for "Wishes" again soon .. :D

Wei Ling and Wan Ping left us for the bus as we took the monorail to the Polynesian Resort to look for cute guys. I.E AJ. Cause she wanted to see my taste. Haha .. Thanks to a very smart Cheryl, we took the fastest monorail over to the Polynesian Resort. :D

And started chewing on our chicken fingers as soon as our food came.

She liked the environment of the Polynesian and she did say it is her dream to return again. But I was thinking, if I have 10 kids, I CAN'T BRING THEM TO DISNEY WORLD. It would be pure suffering to shut them up, take a 26 hour first class SIA trip to Orlando, bear with the heat all over again, and have time to ourselves. Hahahaha .. I *wish* one day I'll be rich enough to bring my family over to buy any amount of souvenirs back. I guess I'ld love to come back again.

After dinner, we went back to the TTC and took a bus back with James to Vista. We got Hidayah a Mickey cupcake. The one that all the kids insist they must buy. She was 3/4 asleep while I did my best in memorizing 1-10 in Spainish, it's Uno, Dos, Tres, "Quarto", "Cinco", "Sies", "See-ar-teh", "O-cho", "Where-va", and Diez. "pronounication" << cause I can't spell the real word.

And so, we checked whether Hidayah was home, and according to Cheryl she looked quite cross that we just asked her out to see whether there was any food? Then, as I cut the price tag, and Cheryl got the cake and we interchanged roles. We barged into her room, and Cheryl "yo-yo-yo" and I did my "Chef of the Day" speech. The "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS. EVERYDAY AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD WORLD IS A SPECIAL DAY. BUT TODAY IS A SPECIAL DAY BECAUSE IT'S HIDAYAH'S BIRTHDAY!!" Luckily, we reached home at 0005 and she was awake.

Then, she had her cake and present and we sang her a birthday song.

After her food, we chatted abit. Then, Cheryl went back to sleep as I masked my face for the first time in US. Feels better. Hahaha .. She kept commenting that I kept having outbursts which I really should do something about. Oh well ~

I went to work at 1630, so I felt I should be stocker or busser or expeditor :(

BUT !! I was cashier .. Whahahaha ..

Then again, due to the change in the Kid's Menu, I'm having problems with the expeditor who obviously wasn't as careful as me yesterday. So, I kept running back to the kitchen and making orders right instead of helping clear the lines. Which, Ann was doing .. Oh, Ann was finally back yesterday .. She had undergone a cataract operation and couldn't wait to go to work. So, she killed her boredom by killing her friends with endless phone calls .. Hahaha ..

I started teaching Cheryl how to sign, "popcorn", "stripper", "how are you". Hahaha .. While she was sleeping that is ..

Today is the start of the Year of the Million Dreams !! For the next 15 months, both WDW and DL (Disneyland) are going to fulfill 1 Million dreams !! They fulfilled mine last Thursday when I won a 10 inch cake by sitting on a chair with a black dot, unknowingly.

Today I was .. Expeditor. What is Expediting, you may ask? I'm the most important person of all !! Because after the cashier takes the orders, the chef cooks the food, there still needs one person to take the food from the backstage to onstage. And that person who places chips on everyone's food is .. ME !

Not only placing chips, our kid's menu has changed so I'm reading receipts and placing the food they order on the mickey heads!

Yesterday was weird, Iris was late by .. 4 hours ! Means 99% will have 1 full demerit point, but she worked 8 hours, so I have no idea whether they would cancel off the demerit point.

We had so much fun together. She was teaching me how to sign, and now I believe I can sign better already! Haha .. So, when I see Ivan, he is going to question mark me alot, cause now I don't have to talk. But he'll pick it up quickly, cause he's so smart ! Hahaha .. He can ASL too :)

Brennan is coming later at 1230 to lend me his PS2. But he says I might have to buy a memory card, PAUL SEND ME ONEEEE .. LOL

And I took the bus back with Brandon and Xiao Shi and a new girl I know. Size bigger than ALP de. LOL. I miss ALP ..
